Title: Fitting later power steering pumps?
Post by: Limey57 on 2017-03-18 12:32
My Ranchero is fitted with a Wurth-it power steering rack conversion, when I bought the Ranchero it came with a new P/S pump from a late model Mustang (see picture below):

I'm struggling to find a vee-belt pulley to fit and also brackets, I don't really want to go the serpentine belt route as I want the outward appearance of the engine to be old.

Anyone know if a vee belt pulley and brackets are available to fit?

Just wondering ...

Did you ever find a MTG KIT?

That is a FORD C II pump, not very popular on retrofit. Kits are readily available for a SAGINAW PUMP, AND will produce more than enough PSI for a rack conversion.

EDIT -

I am a$$-u-me(ing) a Y-BLOCK was being discussed.
