That's not a car...THAT is a piece of rolling art work! WOW! What a beautiful car! Your chest must be pretty well pumped with that work! Absolutely gorgeous! Congrats! I see some serious trophy collection in your future on the show circuit!

We would love to see your great looking Custom at the Fabulous Fords Forever Car show at Knott's Berry Farm April 30th, 2017.  Our 57's are grouped together with 49 to 59 Fords, all models, although some show their wagons and Ranchero's or Race cars in another class.  The show is non judged and each year our class of cars is getting smaller and smaller.  Sure would like to see yours there this year.  One of the complaints I hear about our show is that it is primarily for Mustangs, that just isn't the case, it's for all Fords.  Yes, there are over 1,100 Mustangs at the show, but for every non-Mustang registered there is one less Mustang at the show because of the parking limitation of approximately 1,800 cars registration closes on March 31st or when we reach 1,800 cars registered, whichever comes first. I'll be bringing my 2008 Shelby GT and if I can get my 57 Custom 300 back on the road in time (it has been in "body shop jail" for 2 years) it will be there too.

If I can get mine finished this year like I plan, I'll try to make that trip in '18. Never been to Knotts...so good excuse to go eh? (If a certain realtor would sell my investment house...I COULD get mine finished in time to do plenty this year! Maybe she'll see this and get the lead out! LOL!!!)

Thanks for the invite Bob.  I have been to the Knotts Ford show several times, but it was with my 1968 Shelby GT-500KR, so I am well aware of all the Mustangs that tend to overcrowd it.  It's been several years since, but here's a couple of photos from one in 1987 at Knotts when it was photographed with a 68 Convertible the same color (Acapulco Blue) for an article in Mustang Monthly, one from 1992 and one I took a few years later.  I'd love to bring the 57 down but I'll be on vacation most of the month of April in the UK, but will be at the Temecula Rod Run in two weeks (as long as it doesn't rain) and Cruisin for a Cure in Costa Mesa in September, got a spot inside building 12 for that one.

First car show for the finished Custom and weather could not have been better at the Temecula Rod Run yesterday (Saturday) in Old Town Temecula CA! Thousands of people came out with more than 600 cars,  although there were WAY to many shoe-box Chevy's, but that was no surprise.
