My friends speed shop has a super nice '34 pickup in for an engine swap. My friend installed the engine a few years ago. New crate 302 (not sure if it's Ford Racing) with an AODE tranny. Engine has about 2000 miles on it I'm told. He's one of those guys with a few bucks that can't decide what he wants and is putting a Chev LS motor in it.
Engine is complete except carburetor, has chrome alternator and polished ribbed cast valve covers.. He is wanting 2800. for the engine/tranny combo. My friend was busy with a customer, what info I got was from his dad. I can get details if anyone is interested. Seemed like a good deal to me.
PS carburetor is not included because he sold it when he converted it to fuel injection (Fast?), then sold the FI when he decided he didn't like it, and was going to change back to carb when he decided to go the Corvette LS route.
I can do this, I can do this, I, well, maybe

a 34 doesn't like rear mounted distributors. He's either in for a firewall hack or generally off topic with this one.... :003:
302 with an AODE sounds like a sweet combo for a lightweight street rod driver.

I hated seeing it in for a Ford to Chevy engine swap.
Does an LS motor have a distributor? Maybe depends on which LS number?

LS motors don't have any distributor, I'm almost positive.
