Another core support question

Is the top of the support suppose to be straight across? Mine has a bow in it, this is an old picture from a few years ago when I first started working on the car and forgot to ask at that time.

Checked mine and it is bowed out toward the grille and looks like your picture.

Thats funny Jeff. I'm actually putting a new engine in right now and that is what made think about the radiator support again.
