I've located a radiator core support from a 58 Edsel. Does anyone know if its the same as the 57 Fords? It looks like it from the pictures and i know 58 Ford/58 Edsels were built on basically same platform and lots of 58 Ford parts are the same for 57 Fords?

Yes, it will fit.
Does it make a difference if it's from a large or small series Edsel or are they all the same?
Small Edsels are Ranger & Pacer, same as Ford
Big Edsels are Citation & Corsair, same as Mercury
Ford & Mercury were completely different chassis until 1961.
Good luck,
Ron.
I wonder if the radiator supports may have some differences, since the Fords have rear opening hoods, and the Edsels opened from the front? Also, I am not positive, but to my eyes, the rad support on my 59 looks very similar as a 57/58, except the 59 has a bolted on bracket where the rad support meets up with the fenders/inner fenders. May be another option to look at.
Both Edsel and Ford had front opening hoods through 58. I believe the core support for 57 -59 is the same, not 100% sure about the 59 but am sure about the 57/58.
57-59 Ford core supports are the same. The nos one I bought had a B9A part # so I checked the MPC to be sure. The small bracket between the core support and the inner fender is stock on 57's.
