Has anyone located a vendor who produces well-made, bolt-in, two-row aluminum radiators for early Fairlanes with Y blocks and auto trans? I found one at Griffin, but they want more than $1k plus shipping. Honest! Can't believe they have the nerve to ask that kind of money. If anyone has located a source, please pass it on. Even if it's not an exact bolt-in and requires some fabrication, that would work. Thanks, Ron
Lots of us have used the Auto City Classic radiators. Mine has been great, and I have yet to hear of any problems from other guys. Cost.....I'd be surprised if it's 30% of the griffin. My 4.6 has never reached 200*, it's a bolt in. Verify the outlet locations as their website shows one of the '57 radiators with one of the outlets on the wrong side. Shipping..if you have any big swap meets coming up near you, as if they are doing that one, and if so, they'll deliver it there free.

I noticed while looking the free shipping to swap meets may be for glass only.
Thanks, Rich. I went to their website and I think I'm going to buy the unpolished, bolt-in radiator for $229. Appreciate the referral! Ron...
Whoa.............The 229. radiator is for T-Birds!!!!!!!! ours for v-8's unpolished is 279.

The one I ordered for my 1956 Fairlane is $229, unpolished. Here's the link: http://www.autocityclassic.com/1954-1959-full-size/1954-1956-ford/mercury-aluminum-radiator-sl1306013/
Thanks, Ron
Ah............. I assumed you were looking for a radiator for a '57

Sold my '57 a couple weeks ago and now I'm "refining" my '56 Club Sedan. Thanks for the heads-up anyway.
