Yes they are available as a copy, you can search online and find them. Only bad thing, they are loose leaf, so you have to put them in binders. I have a set, but don't recall who I ordered them from.

Thanks! I'll search online. Don't mind loose leaf makes it easy to make specific copies and have them out in the shop for reference when working on stuff. And still keep original stuff pristine.

There are several factory issued parts and accessories manuals, here is what I have in my collection that covers 57.

1955-56-57 Ford passenger car and Thunderbird parts and accessories Catalog,  form # 7516, September 1956, 584 pages
1953 thru 1957 Ford passenger car, thunderbird, and truck Body Parts Catalog,  form # 7422, 1956, 456 pages
1957 Ford Passenger car, Thunderbird, truck soft trim catalog,  form # 7597 September 1956, 34 pages
Ford quick reference catalog (collision & service parts) form # 7514, January 1957, 64 pages
1957 Ford Accessories (showroom handout) vol 56 PS-1 L2, 1956
1949/1959  Ford passenger car and Thunderbird master parts and accessories Catalog (2 books over 1200 pages, can be bought on CD)

There is one book I've been looking for for 40 years, I only saw it once at Hersey in 1971 and just missed buying it, it is the 1957 Ford Factory Accessories book, this book list every upgrade and accessories that could be put on a Ford car on the assembly line.

Lou,

Not sure if this was the book you were looking for,  I know its a reprint and not OEM not sure if that matters.

Thank slim, I have that book, the one I'm looking for is about 8 1/2 x 11 and 300 pages. the only people outside of the factory that had it where fleet saleman, and if i recall it was looseleaf.

Is that the book that shows how to install A/C and other acc's?  With a reddish brown cover, 3 hole bound?
If so I have one.
Also the factory 49/59 Parts Manual is repro'd, most of the major vendors sell them. They are bound just like the originals.
Ron.

Went ahead and ordered this one. Useful but really its just a pocket sized saleman's guide so he can explain available options. Marketed well by the vendor says 1 available order it check later and miraculously another 1 is available.

No the book I refer to is an accessories book of what can be installed at the factory but not how to install it, for instance there are 6 full pages of springs, 12 pages of carburetors, 3 pages of rims and tires, 7 pages of non-stock paint colors (trademark colors) 8 pages taxi packages, 15 pages of police packages, on, and on.

Try this guy.
I met him at a Swap Meet in Fort Worth,Texas.
I got manuals for my 1950 Willey, 1952 International, 1968 Camaro and 1957 ford repair manual from him.
