I'm in the prosess of rebuilding my 57 Fairlane 500,63A , and am looking for the roof side rail weather strips, D carpenter dosen't have it so thiought some one may point me toward a different sorce. If all else fails I can reuse what I have but would really like new ones. Thanks, Alvin.

Alvin. The next best place to look I would think would be classic auto Parts in Oklahoma City. They manufacture a lot of parts like what you're looking for. I was going to look for you, but I'm not exactly sure what your part looks like. They use to be called Ford Obsolete. website is on our links list.
After that try concours  Rich
I can do this, I can do this, I, well, maybe

Hi.. I know which rubber you are looking for but cant find them either to fit on a body style 57A (4 door hard top).. I have tried  Restoration Specialties, Dennis Carpenter, Concourse Parts and a number of different specific rubber product companies to no avail..

If you find some can you let me know?

Cheers

I tryed this this afternoon and it seemed to work ok. I had some 3M strip caulk and run a bead or strip on each side of the screw holes, put the rail where it needs to be and screwed it on. Looks good and it well be a hell of a lot cheaper than new repop rubber. Just a idea, I'm going to do all 4 parts like this.  Take care, Alvin.
