Title: Rear Sway Bar
Post by: JimNolan on 2006-12-22 13:57
Hello,
Has anyone installed the rear sway bar they make for 57 fords. I've got a aftermarket HD sway bar up front and I've got the one for the rear at the hanger. I was wondering if it's worth the effort in putting it on. Thanks

I think it would probable be worth the effort. My Buddy put them on both ends of his 56 half ton and made a major dif.
I put one on the rear of my 78 Ranchero...very noticable. But it has coil springs. My 57 Ranchero has major lowering
blocks now a days, so I don't think it cares. :icon_pidu:

I've got the after market on the front of my '57, and thinking about also adding a rear bar (just to see how the ride changes)... Any idea if there is an oem bar out there that would bolt up to our 9' rears? I would rather go the junkyard route if possible. money is tight now adays...
