  RE The 57 Ford
Sometimes people go through a lot of time effort and money to make something into nothing.
In my opinion, It would have been better to have just left the Poor 57 Ford alone.   Now that it is all "fixed up", they have narrowed down the amount of people that would want it.
   This is just my opinion.

Tom would roll over in his grave if he saw that! He did although, take a 66 New Yorker and put it on a 4x4 chassis, He used to plow our driveway with it! But that was only the loss of a Chrysler. He loved to tell people that he plowed his driveway with a New Yorker  :003:!

I have real mixed feelings on that one. Is that any different then someone who highly modifies theirs for drag racing? Either way I think it would be more fun then one that is a driveway decoration.

I was "kind of" into it until I read its got ALL 78 Scrub running gear.

At least it doesn't look like it's been  all chopped up as a lightened purebreed dragster would be. It look like it could be just put back on a '57 chassis.
I can do this, I can do this, I, well, maybe

You make a good point, I cut up a few when I circle tracked them. Not everyone likes that type of racing, might get a similar reaction from some,  Mark

The only one that went to the crusher was rusted in half.....I do believe the 57 Ford is the best automobile that ever happened....except maybe the 70 Boss 302 or the 08 Shelby GT500.... :003:

I say to each his own, we all have an idea what we like. Nothing wrong with circle track racing with a 57 in my eyes. My glory days were watching Ron Hornaday Sr. chewing up the Chevys and spitting them out at our local track with his 57.. :003:

But you gotta wonder all long before it's beat to hell like a lot of those rigs are.   :095:
