James was looking for one a year or so ago. I should have one, but couldn't find it for James. I'm trying to get my workshop cleaned up a bit, so I'll look again. If I find it, I'll offer it to James first if he's still in need. If I find it, and he doesn't still need it, it's yours....lol... lot's of "if's" there.
Fair enuff Rich... but I may have it taken care of!
Thank you
Jeff
Rich and Jeff ,I gave one to James,so if you find yours give it to Jeff. Tom
Yup, thanks to Tom, mine is painted and ready to install once I get my headliner in.
If there's another one of these delete trim pieces available I could use one for Tudor I just bought. Funny thing, this car is complete but for this one hard to find item.................has me thinking!!!
Jeff...I found it looking for some parts for Bill. Couldn't find the stuff he was looking for, but I did find the sunvisor delete, so if your still needing it, I'll add it to the dash pieces when I send them off.
Rich
Rich!!!/.... I am all good and taken care of...... I want to thank you for taking the time....If others need the items... forward it the next wanting person
Thank you!!
Actually, the sunvisor delete has already been spoken for if you passed on it....surprisingly, Jay was looking for one. Did you find the dash pieces as well?
Yes Rich.I am totally covered...Thank you very much!!
There was talk about a left visor delete plate. I just went through the parts book (CD version). There was only a listing for the right visor delete plate. I think a left delete is going to be a very rare piece. Maybe I should make a few of them.
There is no delete plate for the drivers side, all cars had at least one visor. Does the 57 Business coupe have a passenger side arm rest? My 56 Sedan Delivery had no passenger side visor or arm rest.
Would the RHD cars have had a left visor delete, or did all RHD have two visors?
John
John That is a great question. I think all the 57 right hand drive cars were made at Ford of New Zealand, I will ask my friend Allan to try and find out. The only body style they offered was a 300 4 door.
