Wanted 1957 E fuel filter or the trash can filter assy
Repops available from classic Bird vendors.
Saw a NOS one on Ebay last month. They only wanted $900. I got mine several years ago on Ebay, It had a partially crushed can which I suspect happened to many. Luckily I was able to straighten by making a wooden insert and half round welding rod for the flutes. Even so I think it was over $250. Good luck.
Yes Thunderbird Headquarters was them 4-6 weeks $495.00 plus Frt trying to save a few dollars.
Thanks
Michael
You realize originals are made of "unobtainium"? The rarest of the rate materials used in old car parts......:<)
