They aren't cheap.  Did you see the ones that just sold on eBay?

I e-mailed Dennis Carpenter a couple weeks ago to ask if they plan on reproducing them.  They said they do not plan on reproducing them.

Carpenter moves really slow on stuff!  Bob Juliano and I were working on getting a 60 wagon lift gate window rubber as none are available.  Bob gave a lift gate to Carpenter and it is still sitting in the "storage" area.  I called and talked to them after Bob passed away to see if there was any progress and the answer was no.  Both he and I are/were building 60 2dr Ranchwagons, him two and mine.  Don't know if his son is going to continue the builds, work on them stopped when Bob got sick.  The web site for Julianos has pics of the builds.

I offered to give Carpenter a Courier script last year to aid in having them made, and they were not interested due to the low volume.   The courier emblem uses all the same letters and shapes as some of the emblems they currently reproduce, so I figured if it was already in cad, they might be able took up fairly easily.

I understand the quanity issue.   I had heard that if someone needed something real bad and it wasn't too difficult Bob would make some to help.  I realize that in the modern day, it is important to make a good profit on investments, and they have to choose what is good for the company.

If you know of someone who makes tooling, that is who we need to contact on getting some of this special stuff made.

I'm currently trying to get these made.  I have talked to a shop that has the ability about making some.  Still working out the details, they said minimum run was 100 which should not be hard to sell as these work on some earlier models also, but they won't be cheap.  I'll get back to everone when I have more information.

Oh, they mentioned that I need to get it licensed from Ford.  Not sure how difficult that will be, I know it will cost some cash though.

Just a thought...reproduce in vinyl until the real thing is found or bury in clear.

If you click on the emblem the web site then says they have none in stock.  Checked there as soon as I bought my wagon.

Switching gears...a little. Any info' on Courier scripts? I have access to a 3D machine and would like to find a NOS, good used, bad condition, in pieces...etc,  If nothing else a paper template of an original would give me the scale and something to work with... for my shaved 56 Courier.

I suggest sending a pm to (Pat Fleischman) suede57ford. He had I think some rough courier scripts he was trying to get restored...maybe you could get a tracing from him/get something in the works for reproducing them??

Has anyone contacted Randy Connor?  He is a member of this site and has a bunch of 57 Fords and is a real nice guy.

Many thanks, everyone, and sorry for the late reply.  I found not two but three scripts, so I'm set.  Now to figure out the best way to accurately align and drill the mounting holes on the fender, etc.  Thanks, Ron...

Search around in the Technical pages.  There is a template for Ranch Wagon emblems.

I have not yet checked this out, but a friend of mine told me a couple of months back that he spoke with a guy who would custom cut a set of "Courier" fender tags for me. (No one will EVER reproduce those) All that was needed was one tag ( I have) or a really good picture of one that he can use to set his machine up to do the deed.

If you are interested, I will try to get all the info for doing this. I am in Western WA and this fellow is supposedly around the Everett area.  Oh...and the only thing with them is they would NOT have the pins for placing the tags into the fender, so they would have to be affixed using the double-sided tape that is used today. Not a big deal for me, my Delivery will not be restoration, it is going to be a hot rod.

Let me know.
