That looks like a setup I tried to buy about two weeks ago in Georgia. It didnt have a valley pan with it either. Price was very affordable here and I really intended to buy it but was slow to pull the trigger.

That is a T-Bird set up.  The carbs are mounted backward on a bird and the linkage is on the right side, so linkage won't work on a Fairlane.  Air cleaner will work as they are shorter, not originally chromed. I don't think it would be a big deal to modify the valley cover for clearance.   Hold down clamps are a bit different for the E code manifold, longer and probabally thicker. Don't forget the garbage can fuel filter, very rare and very expensive. E Code dist. has it own part number but by my research the difference is only one advance spring.  It doesn't seem to include the choke tubes or fuel lines.  Don't mean to be a spoiler but be aware that if you are going for correctness there will be more expenses.  Tom.
