I think I know the obvious but I don't really know.  My question is , are the v eight flywheels the same as the six cylander ones, I was told they were the same. please straighten me out.     390 ford

If you are asking is they will bolt up, yes.  The standard 6 uses a smaller clutch.  The HD 6 (police, taxi) and the 8s use the same wheel.
