I've been an active member of this forum since 2006, I haven't been posting on the forums for about a year.  Last February I made a life changing decision to end my 32 year marriage. This did not come easily for me,  many things factored into this change. I have checked into 57fordsforever.com once in awhile to see what everyone is doing,  but I didn't have much good to say. Well the divorce was final in September, it cost me half of everything as Wisconsin is a no fault, 50/50 state.  I still have my 58, and the 57 project. I hope to get back in the shop this winter. I have a new lady in my life, and I am able to catch my breath. I am going on vacation today to Cabo, will be in Phoenix on October 31st, wondering if any West coast members will be at the Pavillion on Saturday? Thanks, Mark

Mark...so good to hear from you, buddy! I've wondered many times where you were. Sorry to hear about your divorce. Decisions like that are tough, I know. I ended my first after 23 years, planned on being unattached and irresponsible for at least a few years...lol...sometimes things just don't work out the way you plan them. Met Connie a few months after I left my first wife, and as much as I fought it at the time, well, we just had our 26th anniversary, and we both know we're in it to the end.
Anyhow...stuff happens, that's why they make the bumper sticker!! Good to have you back.
If your looking for stuff to do in Phoenix, check  www.cruisinarizona.com I was at the Pavilion 2 weeks ago...late afternoon until after dark.

Any divorce is painful, my first lasted five years before I walked out, my second has just passed the fifteen year mark & all is good!  Some people don't approve of divorce, my take is that life is difficult enough, being with someone you don't want to be with only adds to the difficulties.  I had people criticise me for walking out on wife number one, but (for once) I put myself first and never looked back.

Good to see you back on here Mark, just keep looking forward.

And have a good time tonight at the Pavilion!! If you see a black Ranchwagon there, btw, it may be Raven Rider. He lives in the Phoenix area.
About 2 miles east on Indian Bend road (go under 101) is a really nice Casino, btw, lol.

Any divorce is painful,

That is the Truth!  Especially when you are the one done bad to.  My ex left me for a 20 year old dope smoker.  She was unhappy that I would not join her with those activities.  Cost me a daughter (that relationship is mended now) and a 70 Boss 302.  That marriage was just short of eight years.  Managed to stay single for almost four years, going on 34 now with the "current" wife.
