I wish to replace the front window vent seals on my 57 Fairlane 500 Town Sedan (58 B) Four door. There seems to be seals available for other body styles but not this model. Anybody know what will interchange. I will be doing the window channels as well, there's another story.

Thank You.
The main seals are not repro'd for model 58 or 64.
dennis-carpenter.com makes the seal along the rear of the vent glass.

I have been gluing the front long felt-lined channel/glass run in the channnel with 3M panel bond adhesive instead of using the original style rivits that originally held it in. After awhile the the felt starts wearing in the front of the track, and the rivets can break the door glass. I have used the panel adhesive on the last few and it is way easier then the rivets and eliminates the chance of the rivets contacting the glass. I still rivet the lower bracket to the channel, as it does not have much surface area to mount the lower bracket, so a mechanical fastner is best there.
When installing the new rubber vent window seal it helps to use some dry spray silicon onthe rubber to help it slide in. It also helps the vent window open and close more easily until the rubber gets broke in.
Note: You do not want to use silicon or spray silicon around your car until all paint work is finished.
