Been trying to find factory correct u-nuts for a 57 that go on inner fender for attaching fender.  I have tried the usual vendors RSSI, AMK, etc. but can't find the correct ones.  The ones that I have found are close to those from a 58.  Attached is a picture of ones from a 57 and 58 for comparison.  Does anyone know where the correct style from a 57 can be obtained?

The Ranchero I'm building right now has the style you show as 58.  A 2dr 300 I parted used the same style.  Not sure using the 58 pictured would be a bad thing.

Both the Ranchero and the 300 were early production cars from completely different parts of the country, San Diego and Louisville.

The nut that I show for a 57 are from a Norfolk car built June 25th.  The one I show as 58 are from a set of 58 inner fenders, not sure of production date.  So maybe it back to Ford using different things at different plants at different times.

I'm going to guess that's the case, I used two of them from the 300 when I did the 58 Edsel.  They were a perfect match even though I didn't care, mostly because they will never be seen.
