Meltdown Drags July 18,19,20

I hope there will be a big contingent of 57 Fords at the Meltdown Drags this year. For some reason I booked a motel room in Rochelle the first of January. Now they say there are no rooms available in Rochelle. Rockford they say still has rooms. It's three days of old time drag racing with old time cars.

Jim, did you make it to this event? I was there  Friday - Sunday . great time.

As a matter of fact I didn't. I decided to stay home this year. I've beat that little car to death the last 3 years and I decided. I had 40 time slips last year and about the same the year before and I just figured since I'd been this lucky so far I'd give it a rest.
