Now on to the next problem the old girl has. The left turnsignals work nice and flash at the proper rate. When the right one is turned on they flash three times slowly and then quit.  Any suggestions? I have my doubts about it being a bad flasher. Thanks in advance.

I would take a jumper wire & touch it to the base of the bulb to see if it starts flashing. If it does you have a ground problem. You could try switching the bulbs from side to side to see if it flashes. Just things to try without spending any $. You might also check the number on the bulbs. They came with 1034 bulbs from the factory but we always put 1157's as replacements. They flash faster with 1157 bulbs. All that said, it still could be the flasher.

According to the manufacturer of my wiring harness (Ron Francis), if something weird is happening, odds are it's a faulty ground.
