Power steering conversion

Has anyone on this site ever shortened a steering column with the 3 speed column shift and installed the Borgeson  power steering box? I called the company and the rep said they have only done the automatic shift in their shop, and wasn't sure if it can be converted to the manual shift linkage. Any info would be appreciated. Don
