What is the wheel width and offset on a wheel for a 57 fairlane 500 2dr hdt. Thanks

Jim,
I guess nobody has noticed this post. I don,t have any stock 57 rims around anymore. They must be 14x6 is my guess.
My boat trlr has Ford chrome reversed wheels on as many older boat trailers did. They are reversed to clear the inside
of the trailer so I can't measure the offset. I'm sure somebody with stock wheels will get back to you. :felix:

Whoa, I just gave away two that I think were original on my car.  But somehow I was thinking they were 5 1/2".  I will check tomorrow to see what might still be out back.   r

14X5.5is correct, with 4 inches BS I think, not positive on that.  Too thin for me, lol...

It turns out all my '57 rims are gone. 

However, on a little trip to the desert last week and thinking of this thread I took some measurements on a wheel the guy told me and I blieve to be true a '57.  It was 6" top to top of the rim and 5 1/2" inside the hub.
