A few years ago at a goodguys show in Colorado, i ran into a guy from Kansas City (?) that had a 57 tbird with a 4.6. He showed me pics of numerous other cars he had done the swap into. One of them had a really neat ribbed plastic engine cover that he had painted two tone. I thought I remembered him telling me itthe cover was out of an explorer, but all the ebay pics of engine bays I've looked at didn't have anything like what he had used. Has anybody seen anything like this? Any ideas on what else it would have been from? The ribs were front to back and similar to the ribs on ribbed valve covers.

Found my notes on this..said it was '03 explorer, which I pulled up a pic of. It has ribs, but not to the extent I remember..
