Hello Members. I came up short for some small parts for Standard shift 57 Ranchero. For now need a 7509 bracket. Engine side bracket for Z bar linkage (has ball for Z bar). 7521 adj rod from Z bar to throw bearing fork. 6054 U shaped bracket for rear trans mount (clamp trans to mount) Thanks Cos Oregon 541 221 7941 call/text
There is guy parting a standard 57 ranchero in the Nor-cal craigslist. I noticed he has a standard trans column. Maybe find him and send your list.
It's the SF Craigslist

Thanks for tip. Contacted fella, all auto stuff. Nose still to ground looking. Cos
I see a post today from abe lugo about a rear bumper for a 58, shows a link for a craigslist ad in Seattle parting out a 58, the picture shows an equalizer bar next to the steering box for a clutch set maybe he has the other parts you need also.
Thanks Clayton I bought the parts he had. I still need the parts I listed. I noticed the U shaped trans retainer is available from T-bird vender, and z-bar to throw out bearing could be fab. Bracket on engine is mainly the thing I need. Thanks Cos Oregon
I may have one, need to look and see.
Depending where in Oregon you are, the last time that I went to the All American Classics wrecking yard in Vancouver Washington, they had well over a dozen 57,58 & 59 Ford cars in the yard. So if you are in the Northern part of Oregon, may be worth a visit. The engine side clutch linkage pivot bracket is specific to the engine, as the 6 cylinder, 272/312 Y Block, and 58-9 332-352 FE brackets are different from each other. As for the U shaped trans mounting strap, pretty sure those are the same for all three years, and automatic or standard.
Thanks for replies. Iam a little confused about engine bracket. Fords cook book lists 6cyl 54/57 as B4A 7509-A I believe this bracket has a pocket for bushing. Book lists 57/ (272 292 312 332) as B7A 7509-A which I think is one I need. 58 with 352 calls for B8A 7509-A. The one I need has the ball end for Z-bar that has bushing inside it. Bill hope you can come up with one. Bill Oregon 541 221 7941 call/text or PM. Thanks
Sorry, no joy here. The block mount I have screws into the block, 302 I think?

That's the one I need! I've been looking for one for quite some time. If no one else has spoken for it, I would like to.

COS, both the engine side, and frame side clutch Zbar/cross shaft brackets each have a small ball that a split bronze bushing fits over. The bushing does go into the Z bar, but only after they are first placed over the ball, and then the tube of the Z bar slides over the bushings. To help hold the split bushings in position while sliding the tube over them, I put some grease on the insides of the bushings, to hold them onto the ball.
Thanks Bill. The bracket I need bolts to block (292) with 3/8 NC bolts. Hole spacing is 2.65 OC and ball OD is about 27/32. If it has those diamenisons and you what to sell it, could you text me a picture. Bill 541 221 7941 Oregon.
Thanks members for replies. Still looking for for bracket. Thinking most of them were left on engines when and if they were replaced. Cos
Hello Finally tracked down Z-bar, engine side bracket. Still need clutch release rod (b6a-7521-a) rod that goes from Z bar to clutch fork and u-shape retainer for rear trans mount to trans. Thanks
