I HAVE A CUSTOM 300 WITH A 390.IN IT I WANT TO PUT IN A FORD TOP LOADER 4 SPEED. WILL I HAV E TO GO TO BUCKET SEATS,? I REALLY DONT WANT TO. CAN I GET SOME ADVICE PLEASE.

I had a T10 4 speed in my Ranchero with a bench. All I had to do was heat the base of the Hurst shifter and bend it forward a little to clear the seat. Some of the shifters have a bolt on handle, mine didnt. If you can get one, Hurst used to, and probably still does, offer all kinds of different shaped handles to fit all kinds of applications.
