Replacing FMX with 4R70W

I hate surprises.  I am replacing a FMX trans. with a 01 F150, 4R70W.  The trans. bolts to the bellhousing of the Cleveland and the torque converter. matches the FMX flexplate.  The 2 bolt starter is fine.  I am fabricating the crossmember to position the tailshaft in the same location of the FMX.  Now the questions.  1)  Due to the body being off the chassis, (Custom 300) will the trans. tunnel need tweaking to clear the slightly different shape of the new trans?  2)  What shift cable is easily modified to accommodate the orig. column shifter?  3)  Has anyone had any experience with the Baumann Electronic Control for this Trans?  4)  Is there a preferred Throttle Positioning Sensor and bracket for a Holley 4 Barrel Carb.?  Thanks, Fred

I hate surprizes too. I had a few with my car, just not big ones luckily. Doesn't look
like anyone here has done what you're doing. Good luck with your changeover to
ther o'drive. Let us know how it turns out.
