Is anyone making a replacement for the spare tire well. If there is no repo out there, is there one out of another car that will fit, like the T-bird?

That is an EMS product I think, so you could call them for measurements.

This may have been what I was thinking of, you never know, it might fit

Thought this is exactly what I was looking for, but looks like it is for 1949-1951

It might fit, measure yours and call them. I have seen it being used on other models that just 49-51.

The issue is that mine is missing with a nice flat plate there now from the previous owner.  I will call them though and see.

Called EMS, (FYI very nice and helpful people) they said it could fit but there is a difference.

Can someone post some picture of what it is suppose to look like? That would help me to see the difference they are talking about.

My car is in storage so I can't take any pics right now, check eBay or the Hamb or something?

Take a look at ebay, 1957 Ford cars and trucks, there are a couple there right now that have good photos that should give you an idea of what it is supposed to look like.  One car has the shot from under and one car from up top.

OK, from what I can tell by the pictures on ebay,  i don't think the 49-51 well is going to work.  Time for plan B.  Where is a good place to find a clean stock one that is not full of rust?
