My good buddy Donnie Gordon is finishing off his 57 Gasser.... been a long run in the works......But he is getting it down.A Canadian car to start and it was ruff... he replaced the lower 8 inches of everything.
New floors,trunk,frame,etc,etc....he saved it and admits... it would have been much easier to start with a better car....... but the craftmenship is outstanding. The painter is delivering final parts.

Donnie is a member here(I think!) and said it's cool to show these pics.He apologizes for not being here and will try in the future.

Donnie often states the car originally was really to far gone to really do... but with the help of some very talented folks... and long long hours.. he down to the short strokes.
I know there is a thread on the Hamb.... but it has not been updated in a long while..... Donnie ain't a fan.

Lorne,.. Our friend Rob Purcell is the one responsible for the metal work..... super talented fella.... he formed the rear wheel wells. He also removed the front bumper pan,cut and sectioned the front bumper in tight with the front grill.I have seen Rob do some amazing work and am always in awe.

It's obvious that a lot of good work and time went into this car.  The body looks real nice.  Even under the floor is painted.
Is it standard or automatic and is the front end stock?  Inquiring minds...
