I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this one, but I'll ask anyways. I have a few pieces I'd like to get chrome plated..one of them being the hood safety catch, which, as you know, is a catch riveted to a bracket with a fairly hefty rivet. Is it posible to have it chromed as an assembly...my guess is no...and if not how does one 're-rivet something like that, or would you replace the rivet with something like a shoulder screw?   Rich

Rich you can get it plated, just not going to have the very clean detail shine unless it is a completely cherry part.
