non-power front disc brakes

Im going to use the Fatman front disc brake kit on my 57. My question is--- I know some of you have used the disc brake setup on the front and have went with non-power manual disc.Does this work good ? I have done a couple of street rods in the past and always used a power boster. I was just wondering how the brakes felt & worked,compared to using a boster? Any Info. and parts used would be helpful,Thanks!

I have done street rods and a couple of 57's with manual front discs. Happy with all and am about to do the same with a 63 Galaxie. Never have to worry about vacuum if I get stupid with a cam grind.

I run manual also. Too much cam for vacuum. Not sure of these electronic units. Seem like
gadgets to me

I RUN WITH OUT A POWER BOOSTER, FIRM FEELING PEDAL, AND IT WILL STOP. I USED A GRANADA MASTER CYL. A ND PROPORTSING VALVE. I DON'T KNOW WHY I USE THE SPELL CHECK . IT DONS'T CATCH THE ERRORS ANY WAY. TOM
