Went and picked up air filter for 1957 ranchero 292 2 barrel y-block,guess what,didn't fit,to high for my stock breather,Ended up buying a chrome breaher for it,sense they didn't know what kind it took.

I have a Purolator on my 292 2BL and it fits fine inside of the stock air breather.   Lettering/Number on it is "AFP 5"

I found one thats low profile that will work,but the chrome breather looks better,I may end up sand the orginal and repainting it and selling it.
