I just finished installing a kit that fit as advertised. It has an 8 inch booster with an angled bracket to allow the booster to clear the manifold. The master has two reservoirs and the bore is .9". I replaced all the hydraulic components including all the lines. Now without the vacuum applied I have the same pedal height and action as the old single master, so I am happy with that.

I got it from an Ebay dealer. It is listed as a 1957-1959 Ford Mercury 8" Dual Power Brake Booster + Bail Top Master Cylinder. The seller is rodpartsdealergearheadenterprises and the price was 165.97. These kits are plentiful on Ebay. One of the main vendors is Leeds Brakes. You can get them with the combination valve and the preformed lines to hook it up. I did all that myself.

I have an update on my master cylinder. First, I stated an incorrect number for the bore. It should have been 1". Second, my made in China master has failed and I can't get any pressure in the rear system. In addition, while bleeding the rear system, the fluid level goes down in the front resevoir too! Now that shouldn't happen.
