That is a nice car. 406 with an auto trans, I'm not sure I would like that, needs a 4 speed..

engine is almost worth the price of the car. I spent a fortune years ago building a 406 for a restoration Im did.

Jim you are right, I love a 4 speed, that is what my son's 65 falcon has. He has it in Texas now, and I miss driving it. However as much as I hate to admit it these old knees don't work like they used to and when you get in heavy stop and go traffic the automatic is hard to beat. With me it is an old age thing.

So true, old thing with me too but I love my 3 spd OD's and I have two.. I avoid going anywhere that might have heavy traffic, I'm a back roads guy..

My OD is set up with a toggle switch and I can put it freewheeling at any speed and shift without the clutch  :001:.
