When I was fourteen years old, I was amazed at how unintelligent my father was. By the time I turned twenty-one, I was astounded at how much he had learned in the last seven years!

Would like that Ford, Lincoln, Meteor sign.
Or the Scrap Rubber sign in Melville.
Lincoln - Ford - Fordson sign in Moose Jaw is also a keeper, I have never seen that combination before.

My brother-in-law lies to collect old signs. Now that he has been retired for 6-7 years...he has quite a slick collection.

Stopped by there today...checked out the Country Squire. Shot some more pics and got some history. As everyone knows from my impressions on other cars we have seen over the last few months, I can be a bit critical of price. I would say this one is a decent price. If I had the money to spend, or wasn't trying to move 2000 miles across the country, I would have probably bought it.
I do think the engine compartment could be a bit cleaner for a car for sale, but everything appeared decent, no sign of oil leaks up top. Doors close soundly, rear tailgate closes firmly and authoritatively. No apparent oil leaks on floor either. Did not fire it up as it was inside the museum. Museum manager was with me, allowed me inside the ropes and to open and close doors, tail and hood.
If ANYONE is looking to buy another or for you lurkers a first '57 Ford...this one would be good to go with. Has  5-speed stick and clean interior. I would be willing to do an in-depth inspection if anyone wants to buy it. I will be in town through June 5th-6th at least.

I took some pics...I will post them over on Joe's Random Pics thread so as not to distract the purpose of this one. Also shot some pics of the outside of the building.
