Title: 1955 vs 1956 steering column
Post by: Edsel58 on 2011-01-16 14:18
Is there a difference in length on the columns. I mean since the 1956 steering wheels are deeper.

Not a 1957 question but I guess Im not the only one here that have had other model years...

If the shift lever is still on it, the '55 lever is straight, the '56 has an offset bent into it.  I think the shift knobs are different, but I can't help you there.   John
