Received a message from ems customer service regarding his still pending need to rework his dies for 57-8 front fender patch panels. It seems the lead he was/is pursuing is not responding. So if anyone has a or both lower fender panels that can be borrowed or bought please contact him directly. Believe there is an earlier post on this issue with a phone number I'll search for it and edit this.

Or send him a private message here he's registered as      ems customer service

Here's his contact information      Alexander  216-541-4585       In his original post he offers a new patch panel as a stud fee whether he buys or borrows. can't go wrong. He also says to call as he doesn't visit this site too often.  This will help most of us sooner or later.

IF THERE'S SOME WAY TO SEND THIS AS A MESSAGE TO EVERYONE THAT WOULD REALLY HELP, THE SOLUTION TO THIS MAY
COME FROM SOMEONE THAT SELDOM VISITS AND RECEIVING THE E-MAIL PROMPT MIGHT FIND THAT PERSON.

I'll call him tomorrow.  I have some really good stuff to let them borrow to make the parts correct.

Thanks Pat, he'll really appreciate it and a lot of us will be unknowingly in your debt.

these panels and others are available from  www.blackcar-llc.com.

Have you used any of these panels.  EMS has great stuff and admits up front if there is a fitment issue, how about these guys?  Kinda like to know if their stuff is China made or home grown.

I have used EMS stuff and quite pleased with it compared to other suppliers.  All of the panels I bought were USA made.  I also purchased a couple from black-car and was very disappointed.  These are old Schott panels left over from years ago.  Fit is very poor lines are not crisp.  I appears to me these are panels made to slip over old damage for fast and quick rust repair that was common on rusted out vehicles years ago.  As the ad says also have light surface rust. I can remember seeing this type of work years ago for fast, cheap and easy repair done a lot on used cars where salt on roads was an issue.  Thank goodness we don't have that problem in Oregon.  Just lots of rain.   I would not purchase again.

Best of my knowledge all EMS panels are made right here in the USA. Their current product is the best out there and they deserve a lot of credit for wanting to make it better.

I found two '57 fenders with perfect lowers.  I am going to call EMS in the morning and see how to get them there.   I hate to cut up decent fender just to ship it, but it is important we get these fender corners correct, and I'm glad they are willing to try to improve them.

I visited the black car site couple weeks ago. Had never heard of it before it was mentioned on this thread. Huge list of parts and to my surprise no prices. Fired off an e-mail to them and  few days later was received a reply. Which was to contact them with needs and they would check their stock and then quote me a price if available. Making me think that what's offered on their site and actually available could easily be the stuff dreams are made of.

The Schott panels suck.  I am now spending a great deal of time trying to correct the totally wrong fender opening contours.  I wish I hadnt cheaped out now..would cost twice as much to fix it now, since the EMS panels are not one piece...Come on EMS, make us a one piece quarter, Danchuk does it for tbe bowtie clowns.  I would happily pay 8-900 for a nice one piece stamping....
