Title: Tie rod grease zerks rubbing Xmember
Post by: glen courier on 2011-01-23 11:39
How can I move the linkage assembly forward to get some clearance? Would the steering gear box have to be moved?

Mine has 45 degree zerks and they don't rub. 90 degree would
work as well if your cross member and steering are stock type.

FORWARD! the linkage is behind the crossmember, you must mean rearward, unless someone has put a differenr front frame clip on it(shudder).campy

Good catch Campy.I had to go out and look at two cars to get my head right this morning. The entire lash up is behind the Xmember, must be the standing on my head or the mental dexterity.
