1st Annual Y-Block Shootout at Barona Drag Strip

Hi All,
I found this notice on the Barona site about half way down on the main page located here www.baronadrags.com
For all who do not know where this is, Barona Drag Strip is located just up the street from the Barona Casino and Resort just a little southeast of Ramona, CA. I have not noticed any advertising for this event except on the drag site. I do not live near there so I will not be there although I would  Love to have a 56 y-block car with a 4 speed to race and drive on the street. I hope everyone who has a y-block in Cal will make every attempt to show up for this event.

I think there's more information over on the Yblocksforever web site. I believe John Mummert on the site was one of the people that helped get it going. I was gonna go but it's scheduled on the same weekend as another 3 day weekend event here in Kingman Az.
