fordomatic to 223 engine

does anyone know what i have to do or have to put a fordomatic behind a 223 that was a stick. need help fast. thanks   skip

The FOM was available from the factory behind the 223, so you need all the parts from a donor car, like bellhousing, flywheel, converter, trans, shift and throttle linkage, steering column, etc.  Don't forget to remove the pilot bushing from the crankshaft.

Skip, did you check out the latest issue of Legendary Fords? Nothing in there really to address your problem, but lots of neat info on Ford sixes.

I just pulled a wagon in that has a fordomatic behind a 223 I'll take a closer look.

I looked and I have everything to convert to fordomatic. the one I have has a 2speed.
