Title: Anybody tried the Mustang 71-3 Spindles?
Post by: 65kcode on 2010-04-19 16:48
I have seen that many are using the Granada, Big Ford/Merc 70's spindles, but I am looking at big brake kits and no one seems to make kits for these spindles?

Any comments would be appreciated!! Thanks
Kevin

That's a possibility on the Mustang but every Big Ford I
had back then had big calipers and created a wheel problem.
T birds, Cougers and Torinos are the same I think. Mine has
Torino.(70's)

Shoprat, We are looking at 16's, possibly 17" for wheels anyways, So I should have plenty of room for the calipers...  I think I've found a 71 mustang spindle to get measurements and see if it will work.  In the infant stages of this project right now.

Just trying to get a plan set in my mind!! That's a scary thought.lol
