Wanted good used spindles.
What kind, stock '57 or later disc brake spindles?
John
Stock spindles. I have a Disc brake kit coming for stock spindles, but the ones I have on the car seem to have some wear on the rear seal area. No problems now with drums, but just trying to figure out is I can afford a second set of spindles at this time.
How Much much Can you Afford?

That's kind of an open question. If they are as expensive as Granadas I'd buy Granadas and not hassel finding stock spindles, but I'm not sure what a good price for stockers are since most guys get rid of them and change over to granadas. This is for my kid and we are on a tight budget. My side jobs pay for this stuff and the last time I had one was the beginning of March. Nothing scheduled right now.
where r u at.
Burbank, CA. I will be at the Fabulous Ford Show at Knott's. I'll be working parking in the morning with the Falcon Club and then the Falcon Club booth in the grass area
Just got our kit today. The area that I was concerned about is a non-issue as the spacer for the bearing covers it.
No new spindles needed
What type of kit did you buy. The spacer you talk about, how wide is it. The spacer moves the inner wheelbearing out on the spindle, doesn't this cause much more stress on the spindle? or is it of no concern? I have tried a rotor from a 1968 Fairlane and have found that it would need a 3/8" wide spacer. Is this safe? HR.
