Title: Tailpipe tip configuration
Post by: Randyh on 2022-04-17 07:39
After searching the internet for hours I found a couple pictures that pretty definitively show that the tail pipe ends were cut at angle from the factory. The first picture of a Fairlane is from a Ford sales videDDD8C61C-F306-4A47-8BB4-017C226E84B6.png o and the other shows a Custom police car taken 1957.
The tip looks to have a vertical section at top and then angles under at what looks about a 60 degree angle.

The angle cuts keep exhaust off the optional Delta Wing deflectors.

One of my attempts for tailpipe finale.  The turn down is a little too much...stirs up the dust.
