Title: shocks
Post by: RICH MUISE on 2010-05-07 20:52
what's the best route to go for shock absorbers for normal driving conditions? I have stock springs with heavy duty sway bars. Anybody using air shocks? Any brands in particular better than the rest?

I should have posted this in steering and suspension...don't know how to move it. sorry

Rich, I didn't find a whole lot available in the shock department. I wound up getting fronts at napa, and they couldn't help me with the rears. I wound up getting a pair of KYB shocks for the rear. I personally don't care for gas shocks, I have a 87 t-bird with monroe struts & shocks, oversize tires. They bounce like basketballs, worse when its cold.  Mark

Monroe Matic has fronts and rears, they are a good fit and do very well.  Got them through NAPA....
