Title: Possible alternative to a rack?
Post by: 45Shooter on 2013-05-28 00:18
Has anyone ever tried a manual steering box out of a '68-'70 Mustang to replace the '57 box?
They both bolt in with 3 bolts, just not sure of the bolt spacing.
Or, is there a later model manual box that bolts in that is readily available, I checked on the Borgeson power box but they say it won't clear factory clutch z-bar.

58 - 64 box will bolt in.  All of those will require horn wiring changes and the later box (1, 2, 3 and 4) will require column work as well.
