I found a set of 17" wheels off a later model mustang will they fit my 57 fairlane ? Thanks

Bolt pattern should be the same. The problem will be the Mustang wheel's offset/backspace. One of the members reported he tried a set of '03(?) Mustang wheels, and they worked on the back, but not the front. I don't know if the readily available wheel spacers would solve that issue or not.

Here is a Custom with Mustang wheels. Rich is right, you would need wheel spacers in the front probably. Being 17" may help the wheels clear the spindles. I believe the Mustang wheels have over 5" of backspace.
