Title: Kanter is great! How'd you get your old balljoints out though?
Post by: greaseball on 2022-07-02 00:27
So, I got everything straightened out with my "Kanter" rebuild kit. I was wrong about the parts being incorrect (Duh!).
Super helpful staff got me all straightened out.

Now if I could get some tips on removing those balljoints...
I've ground off the heads of the rivets, but they still seem very stuck,
next I'll try the drill but any tips would be great, thanks!

Take a center punch and put a divot in the rivet and then use a small drill to drill through the rivet.  Use a small diameter drill as you will probably not get the punch exactly center.  Once you drill a small hole,  Use a larger bit to drill through until you can use a hammer and chisel to remove the rivet being careful not to damage the A arm.
