Wanted cruiser skirts to fit 57 ranchero  like the ones in the picture

RICH MUISE

Not 100% sure, but I believe the ones with the chrome trim like the pic are Mercury. I'm also pretty sure the manufacturers didn't offer cruiser skirts, so I'm not sure why I'm thinking that way.
I can do this, I can do this, I, well, maybe

Rich, you are correct, they are Mercury.  They were factory supplied for the '57 Merc Turnpike Cruiser, hence the common name "cruiser skirts".  I got mine new from the local LM dealer in '58 for my '56 Fairlane, still use the skirts on my Ranchero in the summer.  They have the stainless trim and the stainless scuff pads on the leading edge.  They were at one time offered by the aftermarket, but had a slight arch on the top edge and no stainless trim.   John
