Wagon back seat questions, once again.

Was checking 57 ford parts for sale on the HAMB and there is a back seat for a 57 wagon available. Its about as far across the country as possible and as the ad says ''local pickup only''.  Anyway here's the question this set is actually 2 pieces, left and right. Is that normal or my guess only on the 9 passenger wagons. To clarify its not just the back of the seat that's split but the base as well. Price was good.

My wagon, country sedan, was not split left/right. Not a 9 passenger. I guess the left right split is to allow passengers to get into the 3rd row of seats !

My wagon is a 9-passenger (79C), although I do not have the 3rd seat. Here is a photo of my back seat I just took. Both the back and the base are split 60/40.

No time right now to show how the back of the base tilts forward to allow the backs to be placed flat for cargo. Works good...I like it!

That is exactly what I would love to find. Now if i could talk the guy into throwing them on a greyhound bus life would be even sweeter.

They're sold, will search for a set locally. Thanks for posting pictures.

I have a plain country sedan that has the 60/40.   I plan to use it in my ranch wagon.  Now that I have kids, it may make it easier to haul odd items and still hold the baby seat.

I am actually in the delivery room right now waiting on the second one, this time a girl, to be born today!

I will have to figure out how to hold two baby seats in the ranch wagon now.   It sure is going to be complicated with two little ones in the ranchero, t-bird, or sedan delivery as well.  My black sedan and the an mach1 one are already baby friendly.

Congratulations on the new baby girl, its grandkids that have me thinking that my no back seat business coupe needs additional accomodations.
