Title: Brake pedal assembly
Post by: Jimburnaugh on 2015-08-28 18:02
Hi, new to fords and to forum, am working on a 57 ranchero that previous owner had done a hatchet job to a lot of components in car.  Brakes dont work, some kind of Mickey Mouse attachment from brake pedal to power brake unit. I believe my brake pedal has been cut up also, In the process of installing non power front disc, but can someone post a picture of a manual brake pedal assembly, so I can figure out what was done .   Thanks.

Welcome aboard!  The pedal assembly was competely different for the power vs the manual brake system.  The support from the fire wall to the dash was the same for both so just get the entire manual set up and you should be good.

BTW, most after market power systems are designed for a manual pedal.
