Double groove pully would be for and air-conditioned car. I took mine off my Skyliner. The front bearing was starting to squeel. I could not get the pully off without destroying it (single). Bing how the top takes current, I called Concourse and ordered a 10-si alternator, and just changed the thing over. I am glad I did, because I also late last year ordered a new electronic ignition SYSTEM (every thing except plugs). I'd be leary of converting ignition over with a generator.
